Dymo RhinoPro 1000
The RhinoPRO 1000 is an easy to use, affordable, portable label printer that uses durable labels
that stick and stay stuck. Designed specifically for do-it-yourselfers to label home electronics,
audio and visual components, circuit panels and for many other applications all around the home.
This portable industrial label printer is entry level in terms of simplicity, but advanced when it
comes to features. Easy to handle and afford, it fits in the palm of your hand and is economically
priced. With its intuitive, simple interface, the RhinoPRO 1000 will save you time labeling compu-
ter, audio and video cables and components, light switches and circuit breaker panels, shelves,
storage cabinets, tools and much more. Thanks to its thermal-transfer printing, your labeling wont
be compromised by moisture, heat or smearing.
Supported Labels and Sizes
The Dymo RhinoPRO 1000 prints on 3/8” (9mm) and 1/2” (12mm) label tapes. The various label
materials available are as follows: (i) Permanent Polyester Labels - suitable for almost any
application (ii) Flexible Nylon - suited to curved surfaces including wires and cables (iii) Heatshrink
Tubes - for application to wires and cables with a heat gun. (see page 5 for more details on label
materials)
Portability and Power
Being a handheld labeler means that the RhinoPro 1000 is suitable for applications where portability is essential. It weighs less than 1lb and is
ergonimcally designed to suit both left and right-handed users. The power requirements are minimal too - the RhinoPro 1000 runs on 6x AA
batteries (1.5V) or you can use the optional external AC adapter.
Languages, International Characters
The RhinoPro 1000 supports 3 different languages: English (default), Spanish and French. Changing the language takes just a few seconds.
“Hot Keys” for label formatting
The RhinoPro 1000 offers 5 different Hot Key functions used for formatting labels into a specificed layout.
- “Flag Mode” will setup a label so it wraps around a wire or cable leaving the text part of the label extending out from the cable
- “Length Mode” enables you to specify a fixed length for labeling items such as faceplates, punch blocks and panels
- “Audio/Video” enables you to print common Audio and Video symbols
- “Electrical Mode” for commonly used electrical symbols
- “Safety Mode” for commonly used safety symbols

- Serial key provides automatic incremental printing
- Vertical printing for labeling of racks, bins, etc.
- Large 11 Character display is easy to read
- Prints 2 lines of text in 3 type sizes
- 3 styles of printing– Normal, Italic and Outline as well as Underline and Box
- Units of measure in inches or millimeters
- Requires 6 "AAA" batteries (not included)
